Members of the Uniontown Fire Department recently had a delightful visit to Safety Village, where we shared valuable safety knowledge with our young friends. The day was filled with excitement and learning as the children explored the intricate workings of a fire truck and an ambulance, gaining firsthand insight into the tools and technologies that firefighters and paramedics use to save lives.
The highlight of the visit was the interactive tour through our safety trailer. Here, the children experienced realistic simulations designed to teach them how to act safely during emergencies. They learned about fire prevention, the importance of smoke detectors, and how to execute a safe escape plan in case of a fire.
This visit is part of our ongoing effort to educate the community about safety and emergency preparedness. It was a joy to see the enthusiasm and curiosity of the children as they engaged in the learning activities, and we are proud to play a part in fostering a safer, more informed community.
We look forward to many more visits to Safety Village and continuing our mission to educate and protect our community.
